Molly Spilka is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Nurse through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She completed her undergraduate studies at Reed College and earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Columbia University.
Molly serves on the Board of the Nurse Professional Group (NPG) of ASRM as the NPG Liaison to the Interdisciplinary Patient Education Committee. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the Nurse Practitioners Association of New York State, and the American Nurses Association. Molly’s commitment to women’s health began nearly two decades ago through her work in reproductive justice and health education, serving diverse communities from Hempstead to Portland to Jacksonville before returning home to New York City.
She is deeply invested in improving access to reproductive healthcare and helping patients navigate the often complex and overwhelming stages of preconception, fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. With expertise in hormonal health and infertility, her approach centers on holistic, compassionate, and empowering patient care.
With more than seven years of experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Molly has seen firsthand the significant impact that high-quality early pregnancy care can have on a patient’s experience. At Materna, she brings this deep expertise to patients with a wide range of concerns, including early pregnancy symptoms such as hyperemesis and bleeding, as well as those who are navigating delays in accessing traditional obstetric care. Her goal is for every patient to leave each visit feeling supported, informed, and more at ease about their health and their body.
