Kristin earned her degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She began her career as a D.O.N.A.-trained doula, sparking her lifelong dedication to women’s health. While completing her Master’s degree in Midwifery at New York University, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Elder Abuse & Neglect and conducted research at Columbia University’s Hatch Center for MRI Research, where she explored biosignals, biophysics, and medical imaging. Following her graduation, she built her clinical career as a board-certified nurse midwife in private practice in Brooklyn, NY, and later became a leading voice in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care. A California native now living in North Jersey with her husband and four children, Kristin blends her clinical expertise with her love of teaching and innovation. She is passionate about reshaping maternal healthcare, advancing options for women during pregnancy and through their whole lives, and supporting families through every stage of life. Outside of work, she loves the ocean, snow, traveling, reading, and adventure, with a preference for coffee over tea, dogs over cats, and anything spicy. Her guiding question—both personally and professionally—is always, “How can it be done?”
